Dear Sir,

I am directed by the Chancellor to send you an

official copy of the prodeedings of a meeting of the Council

held on 9th June, 1939, to consider the Report of the

University Development Committee.

The Report which was considered chapter by chapter

was approved as a whole by the Council of the University.

Chapters VI to II were referred to the Senate for specific

consideration and report and the recomendatida cortaied in

II is to be referred to a competent local Committee for mort.
